Crane ChemPharma & Energy was proud to sponsor the 7th Valve World Asia Conference & Expo, held in Suzhou, China, September 20-21. Proven to be a valuable meeting point for piping and valve professionals in the region, Valve World Asia offers educational resources across the chemical, petrochemical, power generation, oil & gas and process industries.

As with previous Valve World shows, Crane was incredibly visible throughout the entire event. In our booth, we  showcased several of our latest innovations, including the Krombach® KFO 9136 Metal Seated Ball Valve, the Crane®FKX 9000 Triple Offset Vale, and the new API-624 compliant line of Pacific® Cast Steel gate, globe and check valves. Recently acquired Westlock Controls was present, as well, and featured a live in-booth demo of its Digital EPIC-2 intelligent position transmitter. Also, in recognition of its 75th anniversary, the Technical Paper TP-410 was highlighted in the Crane booth. Chinese copies were on display and awarded to several lucky attendees.

Outside of the booth, our white paper titled “Cavity-Free Metal Seated Ball Valves as a Solution for High Temperature and Scaling Issues in Coal Gasification” by Business Line Manager Chris Rosenboom was selected for presentation during the well-attended Valve World Speakers Corner Series. Additionally, Crane was recognized in the closing ceremony, and our company logo was included on a cake that was served to the masses.

In an effort to continuously increase participation from the end user community, the next Valve World Asia Conference & Expo will be held in the more accessible and larger market of Shanghai, China.
